Please take this as a constructive criticism, how come mymp revives songs all the time? why don't they write and compose their own songs? sayang ang talents nila. stop reviving and hopefully make music that you can really call your own.

1. mymp like any other opm artist include cover songs in their repertoire (in gigs/concerts). it is not only mymp who do that it became a norm in the local music scene except for those indie emo/rock bands whom play their own compositions.
2. they do have compositions, some were contributed by independent composers. if you try to scan each of their album there are a couple of originals there excluding versions syempre.
3. they release originals for each of their albums as well as covers or so called revivals:
soulful acoustic: A Little Bit / Paalam Na / Every Little Thing (official released)
- tibok ng puso miss you, torpe song #5 and waiting in vain came out as well in radios
versions and beyond: Get Me / Tell Me Where It Hurts / Especially For You (official released)
-almost all their songs from these two albums came out in the airwaves including True Colors, No Ordinary Love, For All Of My Life, Love Moves In Mysterious Ways, Kailan, Sa Kanya, Magical Feeling among others
especially for u live @ music museum (avcd/dvd): ill never get over you getting over me / nakapagtataka (officially released)
-too many walls came out in the internet
new horizon: Soon It's Christmas / With You / Only Reminds Me Of You (officially released)
- nothing's gonna stop us is also being played so far

anonymously recorded and was played in radios even unreleased and nakakalat pa sa internet:

*the list is based on my own knowledge and is limited what i can recall
4. they are not just the ones who decide which one is to be release or not, even the choice of songs to be included in an album is not their sole descretion like any other artists.
5. I do think that their covers are overplayed and mas napapansin but i'm still happy listening as they play songs, cover or not.

woh! i think the band's habit of having their own version of a particular song made them famous, or shall i say it was one that made them succeed. kumbaga, minahal ng masa ang MYMP dahil sa kakaibang rendition nila ng mga old songs. and i think there's nothing wrong with it. and like what pao said, they do write original songs also. kaso, mas sumisikat sila sa 'versions'. i even heard some gals saying, "what if mymp does an acoustic version of MCR's THE BLACK PARADE?". isn't it great? 2 end, i think they should continue doing their usual habit - reviving.. we're after every song they sing.. thanx!
